Beware of the wolves among us
wearing a good disguise
gaining our confidence and trust
perpetuating their lies
____
the truth of the words of Jesus
are twisted in a way
that sounds like good doctrine of truth
but leads a church astray
____
when people are hungry they feed
on food that brings delight
such are the spiritual hunger pangs
will they feed in God’s light
____
or will a body slowly die
on poison which crept in
undermining the work of God
there’s danger from within
____
test all things by the word of God
Jesus will help you see
if errors find there way to you
by some discrepancy
____
the church must keep her eyes opened
be wary of her foe
for Satan comes in many forms
in casting doubt and woe
____
through washing of the word daily
each saint must read and learn
exposing wolves in the church
takes knowledge to discern
